On the first day I have also seen another E-Type, a Series III. Less skillful eye could easily confuse two of them. Both were red, beautiful and in perfect condition.

This Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster was the absolute focal point of the festival. It is a later example featuring 4,2 liter V6 offered between 1965 and 1967 (sometimes referred to as "Series 1,5"). It is also the most desirable version of E-Type, due to increased engine capacity, usability and a number of other improvements against the earlier examples (while retaining the original looks). I am not exaggerating by saying that this one looked just like it left the factory around 50 years ago!
